Been Looking for Help in all

the wrong places?

Have you

There is someone available who has been quietly and successfully helping people with personal troubles for many years. There is a professional who has offered help in a setting of privacy and dignity. He has been in practice for over 36 years and has made it a point to stay out of the "medical office" buildings and off the "insurance provider panels" where there is such a lack of privacy. His office is not on the medically public "beaten path" but is instead nestled away in a small, quiet business and shopping center. One does not think "doctor's office" when one looks at this unassuming, modern strip mall. For many years, people seeking privacy in their access to mental and emotional help have avoided the crowded, impersonal waiting rooms of public doctors offices and mental health centers by arranging private, discreet, consultation in the solo practice office of this psychologist of their special choosing. You have no idea who they are, unless you were the rare person who happened to encounter one of them in this "out of the way" waiting room. Odds are that you have never heard of this psychologist. You won't find his name on billboards or in large ads in the newspaper or yellow pages. You won't see his latest book in the bookstores or see him on the Oprah show. He does not "cater to the masses" but only to the select few that are referred his way by satisfied customers or by the few who possess the information you are reading.

If this sounds like someone you would like to consult, please read on.

You may want to know something of this Clinical Psychologist's background and credentials. You may want to know of this person's professional interests and what sorts of problems he enjoys working with when helping people. You will want to know about his licensure and professional affiliations. You might care to know of places where he once worked and what sorts of things he did there. A short résumé will be found with this material that will answer many of these questions for you.

You will want to know where his office is. A map with directions to the office accompanies this material.

You may expect to have to pay $450.00 or more per hour for this experienced clinician's time in this day and age. If so, you will be pleasantly surprised to find that he charges much less than that, and less even than many of his far less experienced colleagues in the field. On an hourly basis it is safe to assume that he charges far less than your family doctor, your family dentist, your business accountant, or your attorney. His current flat rate charge (became effective before September, 2001) is $150.00 for 45 minutes of his time. Because of the low fee and as a safeguard to your privacy, he suggests avoiding the use of insurance and simply paying for the service. He will assist in helping you recover insurance, however, if you are eligible and want to do so.

Who is this clinical psychologist? He is Dr. Prévost Hubbard III. (that first name is pronounced, "prave-oh" and the last name is like "old mother" ). Strange sounding name, but he is USA-born, of Irish, French, and English extraction, with a decidedly Midwestern accent. To learn a bit more about him, read on. Take a card from the office if one is available. If they are all gone, call (816) 220-9200 and leave a message asking that a card be sent to you (mention your name and address).

Consultation is by appointment only. Please call for an appointment if you feel Dr. Hubbard may represent the help that you have been seeking. Odds are you will have to initially leave a message asking to have your call returned. Dr. Hubbard does not answer the phone personally while in session. (You would not want your personal session interrupted while he answers people's calls, would you?) If you leave a message with a return phone number, your call will be returned as soon as possible - often within minutes but rarely longer than half a day.

Think about it.

Thought is the father of action. WILL YOU CALL DR. HUBBARD TODAY? IF NOT, WHY NOT? DO YOU HAVE A TRULY RATIONAL REASON FOR NOT CALLING? ARE YOU FOOLING YOURSELF? Think carefully! CALL NOW AND SEE IF YOU AREN'T GLAD YOU DID!
